For example, if you have a personal injury law firm, then you want your law firm website to appear on top of the search results when someone types in “brain injury lawyer Los Angeles” into Google.

Even more, if you can get listed in the Google “snack page” area where there is an image of a map, that is something you likely can’t achieve unless you do the 4 things below.

  1. Validate your NAP (Name, Address, Phone) listing online. Look for any typos.
  2. Validate your business listing on Google.
  3. Put your city and a keyword into your meta tags. Use the Yoast plugin.
